Job Description

• Designs, analyzes, and maintains mechanical components and systems to meet specified requirements and standards.
• Utilizes technical instruments to develop specifications for new parts, modifications, or prototypes.
• Identifies appropriate materials and processes to ensure the quality, performance, and manufacturability of products.
• Utilizes Solid Works, Thermal Analysis and Stress Analysis software and other design and modeling tools to plan, develop and improve mechanical parts or components and communicate conceptual designs and specifications to stakeholders.
• Conducts prototype testing to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems and collects and analyzes data for improvements.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots mechanical issues or failures to identify root causes and develop solutions.
• Manage project through to completion.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of related experience
• Experience in a manufacturing organization for capital equipment supplier.
• Experience in product development or manufacturing environment, electronics and semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Working knowledge of data collection, analysis, evaluation, and scientific method
• Proven ability to manage priorities, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Able to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.

Salary Range:
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job is $110 – $150k Annual Base. Individual base salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our benefit package includes medical and dental coverage, equity participation plan, 401(k).
