SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Fremont, CA)
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close
- Consolidation of International subsidiaries and inter-company eliminations
- Inventory control and cost accounting including standard costing, cost of goods sold, E&O analysis, and labor and overhead
- Prepare accurate and timely account reconciliations
- Review and analyze supporting schedules for financial statements and internal reporting
- Prepare work-papers supporting SEC reporting and external audit requirements
- Assist with Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Tax report preparation including sales and property taxes
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent, CPA a plus
- Over 5 years Accounting experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment
- Experience in consolidations and inter-company eliminations
- Knowledge and application of accounting principles
- Strong cost accounting skills
- Computer literate / strong PC skills (word processing / spreadsheet)
- Ability to communicate effectively and interface with internal and external customers, and interact with other department personnel
- Excellent organizational skills
- SEC compliance reporting and SOX experience a plus
- Tax reporting / filing experience
